I watched my father take photographs all through my childhood in India. I treasure those moments, sitting with him cleaning out the slides to put in the projector.  I would have to prop the projector up on a couple dictionaries to get the right height for viewing on the living room wall and after all that preparation, the show began and each image would fill me with excitement as I watched his adventures unfold on our walls.  As a scientist, I realize I cannot fight my genes, and I find myself becoming more like my father every day.  I hope my writings and photographs fully express my intent.
